I browse different lemmy instances usually because the feed is always different. Was blown away when I recently went to lemmy.today, no clue when they did the change but whoever is in charge of the design has my admiration! (chef’s kiss)

Flashy and pretty, but as a UI I find it places too much visual emphasis on form over function / style over substance. The biggest example I can give us that I don’t think the bright neon blue left border on posts should be so much more eye-catching than the post titles. If I were to change things, I would probably try to find a dimmer shade of blue for them, and/or add some additional decoration to post titles so that they more clearly are the first thing my eyes are drawn to when scanning the page.

Yeah. That place is safe harbor for UniversalMonk and all of his sock puppets. The admins even defend him. So, I gave it blocks from my feed. I won’t support an instance that supports that waste of flesh.

Perhaps it’s because most if not all of those comments were part of a conversation with a troll that was trying to get me banned?
Maybe read for context instead of trying to find a witty response?

wrote on last edited by [email protected]You can see that the troll in question has responded to you. They’re following me around like a lost puppy. And for the record, my “alt” was an attempt to move my account to another instance. However, that instance isn’t federated with many that I like to check out on occasion. That “alt” is also one little MonkeyNuts here tried to get banned. The admin looked at the evidence shown him and reversed my ban and banned this clown instead.
As for your comment-
If you want to take things out of context, I don’t much care, but I have far more conversations NOT about that nonsense than you seem to want to think. It’s just that this is what I’ve been up to recently. Maybe go police your own co tent and stop trying to review mine.

When your weird attempt to get me banned resulted in one, I hadn’t known I was temp banned form a community because I couldn’t get the notification from the banned account. So, you accidentally got me temp banned from Politics. Thanks the ONLY instance of ban evasion I’ve even come close to-
