<![CDATA[This is a federated test post from a nodeBB forum.]]>Hello, I’m currently setting up a nodeBB forum with some federated Communities. I wanted to test out how this post will work throughout the other instances. If you would be kind enough to leave a comment to see if it works, I’d appreciate it. 🙂

[Edit] does anybody know if nodeBB has a way to prevent federated upvotes from contributing to forum member specific reputation points?

What the linked post says is certainly true though, the federation between some platforms like Lemmy or WP and Mastodon doesn’t always seem to be as solid as it is between Mastodon instances or even other platforms that regularly interact with Mastodon.

According to this source it may happen that replies from Mastodon simply don’t show up.

From there, each topic is an individual post from the community.
